Wives of Geniuses I Have Sat With II: Wives of Welles is a choreographic work for three dancers investigating the lives and legacies of the three wives of Orson Welles. It is the second in a series of performance works which question the power structures and value systems inherent in the very concept of "genius."

Orson Welles is considered one of the most brilliant filmmakers of all time. He was a serial womanizer, and was married to actress/socialite Virginia Nicolson, international celebrity actress/dancer Rita Hayworth, and Italian aristocrat/actress Paola Mori. The dance imagines their inner lives and explores the complexities of female sexuality, voyeurism, celebrity, romance, and gender roles through a non-linear, non-literal performance.
